We had such a great Memorial Day weekend. We had the opportunity to go to Logan and visit the graves of my Grandpa and Grandma Nielsen and my Great-Grandparents on my Mom's side. It was a neat opportunity to teach my kids about their ancestors and the plan of salvation - that we will all be together again. Then we had the opportunity to have lunch with my Grandpa and Grandma Jackson. It was so nice and the kids had a GREAT time rolling down the hill in the backyard - just like I used to when I was their age - and happened to have a couple races with them this time too! (no, i will NOT be posting video of those races!!!) Boy, that hill was a lot bigger back then! Ü
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank our military men and women who do so much for us! We tend to go about our daily lives forgetting the men, women and families being affected on a daily basis fighting for our freedom and protection. Fighting for the future of children in war torn countries. Putting their lives on the line for you and me. Here is a tribute to the men and women - past, present and future who have given their lives for me. I thank you. God Bless America.

How cute is that? Your kids are so adorable. We had the same talk about the Plan of Salvation when we went to the G'burg cemetary. It seems like a good spot for a lesson on life and families. I, too, love May! It's such a great month. May and October are my 2 favorites.
We did that too on Memorial Day-hopefully they got it.
We had fun with you on Memorial Day! (Thank you for not posting the video of the racing!)

We did have such a great time on Memorial Day. It was so nice to spend it with some of the kids and to tell them about their ancestors.
They were so good and the cemetary was so interesting to Joseph. A Great day!
Just as I realized you were at Grandpa and Grandma's I was wondering if the little hill got used, then you talked about rolling down it! How funny, that hill was so much bigger back then! Glad you were able to spend time with them!
