To sweep and to mop.... then do it again!

Okay, so, I feel like I am CONSTANTLY cleaning my hard wood floors. I swear I bring out the broom 25 times a day.... then on to my hands and knees cleaning up spills. There has got to be a better way! I know, I sound like the biggest wimp ever. I really am okay with this... it's all part of being a mom, I understand... but seriously, isn't there a better way? Any thoughts??? Suggestions?? There are a million and one little sweeper/floor cleaners out there - do they work? I wonder. Your thoughts, comments and suggestions would be appreciated! Ü

Fun at the Farm

The best thing about this pony? She was wearing purple - just like Mahlia! (although it's not pink, it's close enough to bring that smile on her face!)

Jackson chillin' watching the chickens.

Mahlia and her friend Sam feeding the goats... one corn kernal at a time. They were very patient goats....

What's keeping me busy?

If only he were really this easy going.... Ü

Mahlia and Jackson LOVE Thursdays - they watch and wait all morning for the garbage truck!

This is SO Mahlia....

I finally gave in and helped Mahlia give Jackson a ponytail... we will be saving this for future use (bribes!).

Mahlia and her cute "best friend" next door - Andee.

Our ward had a 5k on Saturday. It was a blast!!! The first Aznar family 5k!!! Joseph even raced in the kids race after riding his bike on the 5k! Way to go Joseph!!!

We Will Never Forget

Wow, can you believe it's been 7 years? I'm sure we all remember where we were and what we were doing. I'm sure we all remember how we felt - glued to the TV day and night.
I know I will be holding my kids a little tighter, trying to be a little more patient, and reminding myself to be thankful for each and every little thing that is blessing my life today. Remembering the events of 7 years ago, I see the world a little differently today.
Let us each take a moment today to say an extra prayer - thanking our Heavenly Father for our life, family, friends, home, and our freedom. We live in a land of opportunity. Will we take a minute to pray for the brave men and women who are fighting to ensure our freedoms? From our military to local police, fire and paramedics. God Bless America.

Big trucks and fancy boots

A few weeks ago we finally finished our concrete pad. It was very exciting at our house - everyone was looking forward to the big truck coming and "friends" to fix the driveway. Joseph was at school so we promised him pictures....

Mahlia was quite taken by the cool boots her new friends were wearing - so she just had to have cool boots like theirs. (These look a little more like Napolean Dynamite... but whatever...) Ü.

St George

This weekend we were able to "get out of dodge" and enjoy a weekend in St. George. One of John's patients hooked us up with a condo which was wonderful!!! We shopped, swam, ate and played! I would love to say that we slept - but silly Jackson was up from 12-4 Friday night and 11 - 4 Saturday night. Grrrr... very, very frustrating. We had a great time none-the-less and even discovered Sand Hollow reservoir, which was amazing! Red sandy beaches with crystal blue water and lots of little rock islands to swim around and explore. Wish I had my camera with me to catch Joseph braving his first cliff jump! Anyway, back to school, work, laudry and cleaning! P.S. love the St. George temple!

(I know, totally bugs i cut the top off of this one! sad. )

That's my girl - such a poser!!!
