So, I noticed that Joseph just didn't look quite right Sunday. Hummm.... is he just tired? It's been a big week - maybe he just needs some more sleep. So, we have a low key morning and after church I insist he sit and rest before the family comes over. Well, fast forward to 6:30 p.m. we get everyone in their Pj's and hope for early bedtime. Joseph starts complaining that his eyes and his head hurts. To make a long story short for the next 4 days Joseph is fighting a fever of 104- 105. When I took him to the after hours pediatrician Monday night his fever registered at 105.6! DANGER!!! Turns out it was a "long and miserable" virus going around and there's nothing we could do but treat the high fever. As terrible as I felt for him, and overwhelming as it was... I was so happy to be home with my kids and be able to take care of Joseph and play with Jackson and Mahlia. I'm so grateful to be a mom and to have the best husband ever and the cutest kids, ever.... Now, can we please get some sunshine already???

Wow 105 thats scary. Glad he is doing better that must have been so stressful for you and John yikes. Ellie has only been sick once with a minor cold, but I can see how emotionally draining and exhausting it can be. Hopefully the sun will come out and revive everyone soon.
Payton has had the same thing all week long! It started Tuesday night and he still had a fever this morning! Crappy!!! I am glad that Joseph is feeling better!
Glad he is feeling better. Gabe had a fever of 106 once when he was a baby, and we just freaked and took him to the ER. Same virus thing. I was bawling and expecting the worst news like he had leukemia or something. I've gotten better since, but it's still scary when your little ones get sick and you just want them to feel better. Hopefully your sickness is over for the rest of the year! ;)
Grandma is so sick of seeing all these little ones sick! It has been a LONG winter and we need sunshine and fresh air!!!
Glad you are feeling better JOJO!
