We Will Never Forget

Wow, can you believe it's been 7 years? I'm sure we all remember where we were and what we were doing. I'm sure we all remember how we felt - glued to the TV day and night.
I know I will be holding my kids a little tighter, trying to be a little more patient, and reminding myself to be thankful for each and every little thing that is blessing my life today. Remembering the events of 7 years ago, I see the world a little differently today.
Let us each take a moment today to say an extra prayer - thanking our Heavenly Father for our life, family, friends, home, and our freedom. We live in a land of opportunity. Will we take a minute to pray for the brave men and women who are fighting to ensure our freedoms? From our military to local police, fire and paramedics. God Bless America.

Thank you. It is still as traumatizing to me today as it was that day. Having close friends personally affected by these events brings it that much closer to home. These friends are in my thoughts today and always. God bless those whose lives were changed forever that day. God bless our military and emergency services personnel. "I" will NEVER forget the feelings of that day.

I find myself reflecting too. I see first hand on a daily basis the results of this tragedy on military members. Just today while dropping kids off to school I see a child desperately clinging to her mommy who is dressed in her military uniform. After, she explained to me that she was deployed to Iraq for 15 months and although she has been home for 1 year her daughter cannot separate from her. We will find that generations will be affected by this day. Thanks for your post!
